David Tweedie - Guitar/Music Program Coordinator

David Tweedie is a guitarist from Melbourne, and for the last 12 years has been working as a highly sought after musician with many different bands and artists around Australia and other parts of the world. Currently, David is guitarist and backing vocalist with leading Australian pop star Guy Sebastian and in the past he has performed with many others, including Delta Goodrem, Aloe Blacc, Anthony Callea, Lupe Fiasco, Tina Arena, Samantha Jade and Shannon Noll. David has recently completed his Masters degree in music and has also been working in musical education for nearly 15 years in schools.

Dayoung Wi - Piano

Dayoung is an incredible pianist who is passionate about music performance and education. She started playing piano at the age of five and has completed her Bachelor of Music Degree (with Honours) in Piano Performance and Master of Teaching Degree in music, both from the University of Melbourne. She performs regularly as a soloist and as a chamber musician with the performance groups ‘K.A.MEL’ and ‘Skerzo’.

As a music educator, Dayoung believes in supporting students experience the joy of music-making by providing a positive learning environment and encouragement where students can be motivated towards music learning, as well as sharing the musical knowledge and skills.

Jake Underwood - Guitar/Bass/Ukulele

Jake is a highly skilled and experienced multi-instrumentalist, musician and teacher. Since completing his Bachelor of Music he has been working as a professional musician performing as the lead guitarist and songwriter for reggae/rock band King River Rising and soul/jazz instrumental group the Winfield Road Experiment. Jake has been teaching guitar privately and in schools for over 9 years and uses his passion for music to inspire his students and his experience and knowledge to educate them. 

Clarelle Kally - Singing/Piano

Clarelle is a current Popular Voice student at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, Monash University. With expertise in vocal mechanisms and a diverse range of genres, she has been involved in jazz and contemporary bands, both working cooperatively with other musicians and taking a lead role also. With a passion for teaching and music-making, Clarelle creates a welcoming and nurturing environment through her ability to foresee each student’s potential and help them achieve their goals.

Zeb Fernandez - Drums/Guitar

Zeb has been a full time Session Musician in Melbourne since 2017. His drumming career has had him perform and tour around Australia, the USA, Panama, Philippines and India, playing for artists such as played Fr Rob Galea (X Factor), Gary Pinto (Guy Sebastian/Voice/X factor coach), Joe Melendrez (Los Angeles artist), Emily Williams (Australian Idol) amongst others. 

 

Zeb has a very deep passion for music. Stemmed from a very musical upbringing and hitting the kitchen utensils from a very young age, rhythm and music was always heavily ingrained into his daily life!
